• Sunday School

  Our Sunday School classes are truly unique!  They are centered around learning God's Word and the message of forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ.  And ... each age group is challenged in personal growth!  The younger children experience loving teaching and express themselves through art and craft projects.  In addition to lessons and crafts, older children learn music and can participate and perform in the Children's Recorder Choir.  Teens enjoy in-depth studies and reflect on how to cope with the challenges of becoming an adult.  They also focus on positives, such as how teens can be a light and a joy to others.  Incidentally, have you ever celebrated your birthday by being wrapped up in colorful crepe paper like a mummy?  Anything can happen in one of our Sunday School classes!

• Youth Chimes Choir

We are blessed with many talented musicians at Good Shepherd and doubly blessed that some of these musicians share the joy of music with our young children.  Our youngest musicians participate in a chimes choir that performs seasonally.

• Vacation Bible School

  Each summer, children aged pre-K through 6th grade can shake the summer doldrums by getting together with old and new friends in Vacation Bible School.  VBS weaves stories, music, crafts, and snacks into an exciting week where the children learn Biblical values focused about Jesus and the joy we experience in His sacrifice and the gift of eternal life.
